From September 23 to 27, 2025, the 2025 China International Industry Fair (CIIF) was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

As the largest and most prestigious industrial event in the Asia-Pacific region, this year's CIIF, themed New Industrial Quality, Boundless Intelligent Manufacturing, brought together over 3,000 domestic and international exhibitors from 28 countries and regions, attracting 224,000 professional visitors—a historical record.

As one of the core professional exhibitions of CIIF, the 2025 metalworking & CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS 2025) gathered over 800 domestic and overseas enterprises. Leading companies in the laser field, including Han's Laser, HG Laser, Trumpf, and Bystronic, showcased their flagship products and first-launch items. The exhibits covered cutting-edge equipment such as high-speed laser cutting machines, 3D five-axis laser cutting machines, and intelligent welding units, fully demonstrating the core role of laser technology in driving industrial transformation.

Conclusion of the Grand Event: Over 1,000 New Technologies and Exhibits Make Their Debuts

On September 27, the 25th China International Industry Fair (CIIF) concluded at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Over the 5-day exhibition, more than 3,000 domestic and international exhibitors from 28 countries and regions worldwide gathered here. The event hosted 10 high-level forums and nearly 300 thematic activities, with over 1,000 new technologies and exhibits making their first launches or premieres—among which nearly 400 were representative achievements of the "Five Extremes" (extremely large, extremely small, extremely light, extremely intelligent, and extremely precise).

Statistics show that during the exhibition, the number of professional visitors reached 224,000, coming from 133 countries and regions around the world—an increase of 11% compared to the same period last year. The total online exposure amounted to 2.314 billion, up by 71.28% from the previous session.

This session of CIIF focused on presenting the "high-end, intelligent, and green" development trends of the new-type industry, demonstrating the strong resilience of China's industrial economy. From the key structural components of the C919 large jetliner to the power system model of the domestic large cruise ship "Adora Magic City", from the 600 km/h high-speed maglev train to precision gear measuring instruments—behind these "national heavyweight equipment" lies the solid support of 1,500 industrial foundation breakthrough projects, reflecting China's strategic resolve to uphold the real economy as the foundation and tackle core technologies.

Gathering of Giants: Building a Global Laser Technology Display Matrix

Notably, the 2025 metalworking & CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS 2025), a highlight of the exhibition, brought together the backbone forces of the laser industry chain.

During the exhibition, well-known domestic and foreign enterprises such as Han's Laser, HG Laser, Trumpf, Bystronic, Bond Laser, Haitian, Maxphotonics, Empower, DNE Laser, EC Laser, DERATECH, Longxin, ELCO, Yawei, Aike, Panta, Morn, Weihong, and QLTEK all showcased their respective "flagship" products and solutions.

The exhibits of these laser enterprises cover a wide range, from basic material cutting and welding to complex 3D processing and intelligent unit integration. They include cutting-edge equipment such as high-speed laser cutting machines, high-speed laser tube cutting machines, 3D five-axis laser cutting machines, intelligent laser cutting units, automated bending units, all-electric bending machines, and flexible bending centers.

At this CIIF, laser cutting, welding, and intelligent systems became the focus of the exhibition, highlighting their irreplaceable role in high-end manufacturing. These laser-related enterprises that gathered to showcase their offerings have become one of the most watched groups, thanks to their speed of technological iteration and industrial adaptation capabilities.

New Product Boom: Leading Laser Enterprises Competing for Technological Commanding Heights

In fact, CIIF has long become a top-tier stage for enterprises to compete in technology. The launch of multiple global premiere products directly demonstrates the hardcore innovation strength of Chinese laser enterprises.

For example, Han's Laser launched the "Lanjing" series (A55, A65, A85) handheld welding equipment. With the concept of "Making Welding Easier", it redefines the industry's experience standards.

HG Laser's 3D five-axis intelligent laser cutting equipment directly addresses the pain points of complex curved surface processing in automotive, shipbuilding, and other industries. With micron-level precision, it fills the gap in domestic high-end equipment.

Furthermore, Trumpf, a leading laser enterprise, released a new-generation intelligent flexible laser welding workstation, which incorporates the new BrightLine Scan bright-surface scanning welding technology. This technology enables the integration of three processes in one: deep penetration welding, heat conduction welding, and wire filling welding (optional).

At the same time, domestic emerging laser enterprises also competed on the same stage with international giants, further driving technological iteration.

For example: Bond Laser launched the Bodor Space Series 3D five-axis cutting machine—a "pioneer in automotive intelligent manufacturing" and a "giant" for irregular curved surface processing;

Centering on "AI + laser manufacturing", EC Laser rolled out a water-guided laser tube cutting machine, breaking the boundaries of traditional processes;

EC Laser presented a 60kW 3D five-axis flat beveling solution, which integrates an AI intelligent laser head and a dual cantilever system, providing key support for new energy battery manufacturing;

QLTEK brought its new-generation GI3015 ultra-high-speed laser cutting machine, applicable to thick plate processing industries such as steel structure, shipbuilding, construction machinery, and sheet metal processing...

These first-launch achievements of laser manufacturers not only accurately meet the upgrading needs of fields such as new energy, automotive, and high-end manufacturing, but also demonstrate a very clear direction for technology industrialization.
